How It Works
The plugin loads a lightweight script (<5KB) from cellbot’s servers that embeds an iframe-based chat widget on your site. All data processing happens on cellbot’s servers — no customer data is stored in WordPress.

Third-Party Service
This plugin connects to the cellbot platform (cellbot.chat), an external third-party service, to provide AI-powered chat widget functionality.
What the plugin sends to cellbot’s servers:
- Your shop slug (a public identifier used to load your widget configuration)
- The current page URL (passed as the iframe source for deep linking support)
What cellbot’s servers provide:
- The widget loader script (
https://cellbot.chat/embed/cellbot.min.js) - The chat widget interface (served via iframe from
https://cellbot.chat/widget/your-shop-slug)
No personal data is collected or transmitted by this plugin. Customer interactions within the chat widget are handled entirely by cellbot’s platform and are subject to cellbot’s privacy policy.

- Install the plugin through the WordPress plugin directory, or upload the
cellbot-widgetfolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Go to Settings > cellbot Widget.
- Enter your shop slug (found in your cellbot dashboard under Settings > Embed Code).
- Click Save Changes — the widget will appear on your site immediately.
