Without changing database, this plugin sets the post_status field to “publish” rather than “future” when publishing a post, even if its timestamp is in the future. Note: This 2.0 version requires WordPress 3.5 or higher. If you need this to work with versions lower than 3.5, grab the 1.0 version from svn: https://plugins.svn. wordpress.org/the-future-is-now/tags/1.0/ ### Note This seemingly simple plugin was graciously written by the magical Ryan Boren when I was facing a deadline. He doesn’t have time to maintain/host it, so I agreed to. Andrew Nacin tweaked it to work with WP 3.5, when the APIs changed a bit.
