- Go to Plugins->Add New and search for My Header Footer
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- In the WordPress Admin Dashboard navigate to My Header Footer->MHF Settings (if not already there)
- Scroll down to the button ‘Hide Existing Headers & Footers’ and click it
- In the new page that opens, hide your existing header and footer by clicking them
- Finally select the ‘Main Header’ and begin customizing and building your own header and footer 🙂

Yes, you can hide your header and/or footer by performing the following simple steps:
- In the WordPress Admin Dashboard navigate to My Header Footer->MHF Settings
- Scroll down to the button ‘Hide Existing Headers & Footers’ and click it
- In the new page that opens, you can hide your existing header and footer hovering your mouse over them and clicking it. You should see it disappear after clicking it.
- Finally save your design to save your changes

I was looking for a plugin where I could change our website footer, after searching and testing dozens of shortcode based stuff I found this. My intent was only to use the footer builder but i actually love the ability to builder headers with collapsable navigation columns

Nice plugin, there are few plugins that actually let you build your own header, works exactly like I expected. Especially like the user interface!
