Seomedseb Smart Search for WooCommerce is a fast, self-hosted AJAX search plugin for WooCommerce stores, focused on two things:<\/p>\n\n

Does it work with variable products?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYes, and you choose how. Under Search config \u2192 Product variations you can show only the parent product (variation SKUs still match it), give each variation its own result row with its own price, stock and image, or list the matching variations underneath their parent.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n

Now scales at 0.85x of the same setting, and its corner radius follows \"Product image radius\" instead of a fixed 4px.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
0.18.9<\/h4>\n\n\n- Changed: hardened a few Plugin Check warnings flagged by WordPress.org's automated review \u2014 table-name lookups in the legacy-prefix migration now go through
$wpdb->prepare()<\/code>\/esc_sql()<\/code> instead of raw string interpolation, and three uninstall.php variables were given the plugin's own prefix. wp_head<\/code> already printed the page's tags, but Breakdance's separate header\/footer template editor (a \/breakdance_header\/\u2026<\/code> endpoint) renders through its own isolated request that appears to never fire wp_head<\/code> at all \u2014 the opposite timing problem, with the same \"real markup, no CSS\" result. Rather than keep chasing each builder's specific rendering quirk, the bar now always brings its own CSS\/JS along with it once per page, regardless of timing, instead of depending on catching the right moment in the wp_head<\/code> queue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n0.18.6<\/h4>\n\n\n- Fixed: the 0.18.5 fix for the page-builder styling problem covered a builder that renders this plugin's shortcode with no page load at all, but not Breakdance's actual behaviour \u2014 its canvas is a real page load (so
wp_head<\/code> already ran and already printed the page's styles\/scripts), then it re-renders just this one element through a later request and swaps the returned HTML in directly. That's too late for wp_enqueue_style()<\/code>\/wp_enqueue_script()<\/code> to reach the page at all, which is exactly what the builder screenshot showed: real markup, zero CSS. When this is detected, the shortcode now brings its own <style><\/code>\/<script><\/code> along with it instead of depending on wp_head<\/code>.<\/li>\n- Fixed: the Design tab's \"Knaptekst (valgfrit)\" (submit button label) field had no live-preview effect \u2014 same underlying issue as 0.18.5's icon-label fix (the button renders either<\/em> an arrow icon or<\/em> your text, never both, so setting the text couldn't just update in place; it had to swap the arrow out).<\/li>\n
- Fixed: ten Design-tab colors (the six status\/stock badge colors, the two sale\/regular price colors, \"Added\" confirmation background, and Group heading color) had no live-preview effect at all \u2014 they were missing the CSS-variable binding every other color field relies on, so editing them visibly did nothing until \"Save changes\".<\/li>\n
- Fixed: the six \"Dark:\" colors likewise had no live-preview effect. These share their CSS variable names with the matching light-mode color (correct on the real site, where they're scoped to only apply when dark mode is actually showing) \u2014 the preview now only applies a \"Dark:\" color when it's actually simulating dark mode (based on the \"Dark mode\" setting and, for \"Follow visitor OS setting\", your own browser's current preference), instead of either doing nothing or incorrectly overwriting the light color.<\/li>\n
