Swedish-language admins are sent to tedrix.se and everyone else to tedrix.io; it is the same service. Nothing is sent before you take one of the actions below.

Google and AI check. When you press "Check my site" under Tools → Tedrix check, the plugin sends your site's home address and your admin language to
https://tedrix.io/api/wp/kontroll
(or
https://tedrix.se/api/wp/kontroll
for Swedish admins). The service fetches your public home page and robots.txt, and looks up the company name in public registers (Allabolag, Hitta, Wikipedia), then returns the result. The address is stored for at most 14 days to check that the results are correct, and is never used to contact you.

Connect with Google (optional). When you press "Connect with Google" on the Tedrix page, a window opens at
https://tedrix.io/wp/koppla
with your site's home address and a one-time code that ties the answer to your login. You sign in with Google there; Tedrix gets read-only access to your Search Console data and creates your Tedrix account. The window sends a one-time code back to WordPress, and the plugin exchanges it at
https://tedrix.io/api/wp/koppling
for the Site ID and connection secret, which are stored on this site. If the site is not in Search Console yet and you choose "Add the site to Search Console", Google asks you for permission to add and verify it; the answer then also contains Google's verification code, which the plugin stores on this site and prints as a
google-site-verification
meta tag in the page head so Google can confirm you own the site.

Connected account (optional). Once connected, the Tedrix page asks
https://tedrix.io/api/wp/oversikt
for your clicks, results and waiting suggestions, and sends your Approve and Skip decisions to
https://tedrix.io/api/wp/beslut
. These requests are signed with the connection secret and contain only your admin language and the suggestion you decided on. The Tedrix service in turn sends signed requests to this site's REST API (
/wp-json/tedrix/v1/
) to apply or revert changes you approved. The plugin does not send your content elsewhere.

Free rewrite. When you press "Write new" on a row in the titles check, the plugin sends your site's home address, that page's public address and your admin language to
https://tedrix.io/api/wp/skriv
(or
https://tedrix.se/api/wp/skriv
for Swedish admins). The service fetches that public page, writes one title and one description and returns them. The page and the text are not stored. The service allows 5 rewrites per site and day.

The titles and descriptions check itself makes no external requests.

Service: https://tedrix.io (Swedish: https://tedrix.se)

Terms of use: https://tedrix.io/terms

Privacy policy: https://tedrix.io/privacy

Install the plugin from Plugins → Add New, or upload the folder to
/wp-content/plugins/
.

Activate it.

Go to Tools → Tedrix check and press "Check my site".

Do I need an account?

No. Both checks work without an account, and so do 5 rewrites a day. The account is for the rest: every page at once, the click data from Google, and each change measured after four weeks. You create it with "Connect with Google" on the Tedrix page, without leaving WordPress.

What is sent to Tedrix?

Without an account, only when you press "Check my site": your home address and admin language. When you press "Write new": also that page's public address. With a connected account, the Tedrix page fetches your results and sends your decisions. See "External services" above. The titles and descriptions check reads your own database and sends nothing.

Which Google account should I use?

The one that has Search Console for your site. Can I still use Tedrix?

Yes. When you connect, Tedrix offers to add the site to Search Console for you. Google asks for your permission, the plugin puts Google's verification tag on the site, and Search Console starts collecting data that day. Google has no data from before that, so the first suggestions build on what the site's pages say, and the click data fills in over the following weeks.

Does it work with my SEO plugin?

Yes. Tedrix works on top of the SEO plugin a site already runs: the check reads the title and description from that plugin's own fields, and approved changes are written back into them. With no SEO plugin it uses the post title, and WordPress itself prints no description.

What do the "Fix" buttons do?

Without an account, each row has "Write new": Tedrix writes a new title and description for that page, and you apply or skip it. The "Let Tedrix fix" buttons take you to the Tedrix page, where you can connect with Google and start a free trial. Connected, you see the suggestions Tedrix wrote and approve them there. Nothing on your site changes before you approve. The checks in this plugin stay free either way.

Will it change anything by itself?

No. The checks only read and report. Nothing is modified unless you press Apply on a rewrite, approve a change in a connected account, or switch on autopilot yourself in Tedrix.

Why does the check say my site runs on a local address?

A site on localhost or a private network can't be fetched from the internet.
